We make hand crafted wine vinegars from scratch. Taking roots, fruits, berries and blossoms, we ferment these natural ingredients into wine. After the wine has matured for several months, with the help of some 'good gut' bacteria, the wine is fermented a second time into delicious wine vinegar. There are twelve seasonal flavours in the full range.

This Great Taste Award winning vinegar has notes of cinnamon, cloves and Christmas pudding. Add to red cabbage casserole, quick pickles, and winter stews.

The inspiration for this wine vinegar comes from an award winning wine recipe—Christmas Pudding Wine!—Vera Durkin won ‘best in class’ and ‘best wine in show’ in the early 1990’s Yorkshire Federation wine making competition. These are lesser know facts but the recipe is truly amazing - fermented Christmas Pudding. Of course the recipe of the pudding is at the heart of this success and it has been fascinating researching so many ‘secret ingredients’ that cooks the country over think make their puddings the best!

We have taken the essence of the original wine recipe and developed our own version which we have to say was quite painful to not just drink at the alcoholic stage. However, the secondary fermentation has produced a distinctive wine vinegar which has the aroma of Christmas but the flavour will be useful all year round.
