Here at Palava we are constantly trying to adapt our working practices to the most ecologically sound as the technology becomes available.
We make our clothes in small batches, and carry through items into the next season if they don't sell.
The fibres we use are all natural and biodegradeable: Cotton, Linen, Wool and Tencel™.
Where possible with fastenings we are using natural alternatives, such as the Corozo Nut buttton.
Small is good, and we hope to make our footprint smaller in the years to come.

Relax in the Philippa dress by Plava - the ultimate easy comfort dress. Philippa is a midi length dress with an unstructured waist. Her tie-belt allows for more shape to be created if desired. Small pleats in the skirt add a pretty detail without bulk and her three quarter length sleeves are roomy and comfortable.
Philippa is made by Palava Clothing in their London factory.
HEMP / ORGANIC COTTON BLEND: A perfect summer weight fabric that is light and breathable, beautifully soft to touch yet also holds its own and gives a pretty structure to garments.
Hemp is a truly exciting material that is one of the world's most sustainable fibres. Our Organic Cotton is grown in Turkey, where it is then blended with the hemp and printed upon.
