This porcelain bowl is thrown and hand built with muted blue slips and a semi-matt crackle glaze on the exterior. The making process reflects the effect tide has on sand with ripples and undulations. The piece is strongly influenced by beaches and coastal horizons in different weathers and at different times of the day. The subtle changes in surface draws the eye and invites touch. The bowl is glazed so may be used as tableware or to hold flowers.
Bowls may vary slightly in size and colour due to the fact that each one is individually crafted and therefore unique.

Pieces are dishwasher safe but handwashing is preferable.
