A striking abstract monochrome statement wallpaper feature for a modernist, minimal or industrial scheme. 'Disorder in Stasis - Passerine' in dark grey on a white background was designed with established artist Joel Weaver, read more for the intriguing story behind the design.
Taken from an original piece of art by Joel Weaver, the Triptych comprises of two superwide panels Passerine I and II (this listing), and 'Feldspar', a striped paper available as a wide 10m roll (see other listing in shop).
Created from a piece of blotting paper used to clean the artist Joel Weaver's pen whilst drawing the original 'Feldspar', the enlarged panels are a unique abstract work in which fingerprints and scribbles are clearly visible.
Joel Weaver studied at Leeds College of Art and the University of Northumbria, then completed a one year fellowship in drawing where he received the prestigious Mike Holland Memorial Drawing Prize. This year he was nominated for the Kleinwort Hambros Emerging Artist prize. He has worked as a studio assistant for Ryan Gander, Damien Hirst and Carlos Rolon alongside developing his own unique art practice.
