About this brand
Here at Palava we are constantly trying to adapt our working practices to the most ecologically sound as the technology becomes available.
We make our clothes in small batches, and carry through items into the next season if they don't sell.
The fibres we use are all natural and biodegradeable: Cotton, Linen, Wool and Tencel™.
Where possible with fastenings we are using natural alternatives, such as the Corozo Nut buttton.
Small is good, and we hope to make our footprint smaller in the years to come.
Delivery and returns
This new print featured on the Navy Constance Palava dress is inspired by a pioneering florist and woman of business, Constance Spry. Particularly it’s her collection of quirky and strange vases in which to hold her renowned flower arrangements that are illustrated by hand in this print.
About the style: Cynthia is the shirt dress of our dreams; featuring a pretty mandarin collar that can be worn up or turned down, three-quarter length sleeves, a belted waist, deep pockets, and a full skirt. Our Cynthia dress creates a classic silhouette that looks flattering on a variety of figures thanks to its nipped-in waist.
Cynthia is ethically made by Palava Clothing in their London factory.
About the fabric: 100% Organic Cotton
100% Organic Cotton is a staple across our Autumn / Winter collection. It’s a natural fibre which is 100% biodegradable and is hypoallergenic. It’s also a strong fibre that is made to last. For more information on Cotton and the other fabrics we use at Palava, click here.
