We collaborated with artist Sarah Jane Palmer, a multiple media artist, to bring you this sensuous fabric. At first glance, this pale, blush coloured nude screams elegance and opulence, flecked with dappled figures that seem to move.
If you look closer, these figures become almost a replica of the erotic art so coveted in the Romantic era; a harmonious pairing of the erotic and demure, immortalised on feathery voile.
"What I love is that I can create design details that a glance could miss, but that a second look might reveal. I am particularly interested in the immersive experience of developing patterns, animations and illusions, drawing on elements of eroticism, humour and suspense." - artist Sarah Jane Palmer.
Body Lace is created using an innovative screen printing technique locally in the North of England.
Intended to bring a subtle smattering of sensuality into your home, we recommend hanging this gossamer-like fabric up in your windows to let the light filter through its pattern.
