About this brand
Here at Palava we are constantly trying to adapt our working practices to the most ecologically sound as the technology becomes available.
We make our clothes in small batches, and carry through items into the next season if they don't sell.
The fibres we use are all natural and biodegradeable: Cotton, Linen, Wool and Tencel™.
Where possible with fastenings we are using natural alternatives, such as the Corozo Nut buttton.
Small is good, and we hope to make our footprint smaller in the years to come.
Delivery and returns
Inspired by an autumn harvest of our favourite fruit, this Nouveau Plum print featured on the Beatrice dress by Palava, is the perfect transitional piece to take you from bright summer colours to warm and cosy winter ones. The hand-illustrated fruits come in a varied collection of shapes and sizes to create a beautiful and unique print.
Beatrice has been adjusted this season for a better fit, giving extra room in the bust and arm. With a high elegant front and a v-neck back, she is also fully lined for luxury and added warmth in winter. She fastens with a tie waist and as always features our deep Palava pockets. In short, Beatrice is a simple, flattering shape to wear that really draws attention to our beautiful prints. Made by Satnam and his team in our little London factory.
We continue to use the ethical superhero fabric, Tencel™, for many of our clothes. Tencel™ is made from the pulp of Eucalyptus trees. It has the feel of vintage rayon - beautifully floaty and drapey, it washes really well and is biodegradable. It’s the most environmentally responsible fabric that we have come across and we love the look it gives to our dresses.
Eco credentials:
- 100% Tencel ™ - Natural, biodegradable fibres
- Corozo Nut buttons (plastic free and biodegradable)
- Oeko-Tex certified dyes
- Plastic-free packaging
- Made in London
- Machine Washable
