I currently work from my studio in the garden, nestled within the beautiful Pennine countryside of Todmorden. Here, I can lose myself in creativity, embracing my love of colour and passion for pattern. My designs are inspired by an eclectic mix of vintage and retro styles.

My career started whilst on placement from art college, where I was offered a job at a textile printing factory. I grabbed the opportunity with both hands. At 18 I was keen to start work, plus I had my eye on a little yellow mini!

Here, at Walsden Printing, I learnt my trade and gained an invaluable amount of knowledge. As I worked my way up to head designer, I witnessed many dramatic changes within the field of textiles. Initially its growth and latterly the decline of the printing industry. In 2001, the factory was forced to close.

Utilising this experience, I was confident and excited to start a new business in commission based design and consultation. Creating designs and colouring collections for many varied customers, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some fabulous clients, ranging from small bespoke business to large retailers.

Over the years I have worked on designs and colouring collections for Warner House, Cath Kidston, Ted Baker, I-Liv and Clarke & Clarke to name but a few. I feel so lucky to have made a living working in an industry I absolutely love.
