Carddies Limited

Award winning Carddies are educational...encouraging creativity, pretend play, imagination and role play, as well as the development of fine motor skills (colouring in/using the stands) and vocabulary (story telling/describing the little people/colours/game to others). It is a toy which can be played with alone, or perfect for sharing. The toy also encourages independence (very little or no parental involvement required, unless desired!)

There is no toy or children’ s arts and crafts activity quite like the Carddies!  Carddies are not a throwaway toy- children treasure them, play with them and make up their stories over and over again once they are coloured in.

Hand-drawn Carddies are created by two sisters, Esther and Raquel, who were inspired by their children’s love of colouring and imaginative play (the idea started when Raquel made hundreds of “homemade Carddies” for her girls when they were little). The themes of the different Carddies sets are all inspired by their children. 

Esther and Raquel had a very clear vision that the Carddies were going to be a top quality product which they would want to buy themselves as parents….and that the product had to appeal to the child who would be able to personalise the toy and make it theirs.
